Dr. Aaron Kuhn
Dr. Aaron Kuhn is a trauma survivor and has dedicated his life to serving hurting people in his community. In addition to serving those hurting from trauma and mental health conditions, he has an extreme thirst to educate and empower individuals, family members, business owners, teachers and coaches regarding interventions to use to prevent the oftentimes unintentional pain that is caused from leaders using misinformed interventions with hurting people.
Aaron has his PhD in General Psychology, is Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-Clinical Supervisor. He has been in the field of psychology for over 20 years. Aaron currently works in a private practice in Celina, Ohio. He has authored and presented on many topics in the field of psychology (i.e., trauma sensitive interventions, play therapy, addiction, childhood development, effective parenting, athlete centered coaching, wholistic health, personality disorder, ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, oppositional defiance, motivational interviewing and differential diagnosis) many different forums as well (i.e., businesses, schools, probation departments, churches and fitness centers).
Aaron’s personal passions are his faith, family and holistic health (in that order). And, his one and only personal hobby is fitness. He has personally experienced the amazing healing power of community in the fitness world, along with the benefits of the brain and gut health that comes from informed dietary choices. Aaron says he gets the awesome privilege of meeting his clients where they are at, and building a relationship of trust that is grounded on him being his true authentic self. Inevitably, his ability to build relationships with his clients has opened the door for them to be receptive to physical, relational, spiritual and behavioral health.
